We previously announced that Eurojet’s new line of gauges and gauge pods were coming soon, slightly before Waterfest 15, back in July 2009, but without further adieu, 20squared is proud to announce the release of Eurojet’s brand new Electronic Boost Gauges and vehicle specific Gauge Pods. A full electronic gauge, gives you an opening and closing ceremony, while providing a buzz-free application. This gauge is guaranteed not to whistle, whine, buzz, or rattle. Eurojet designed a gauge that takes the mechanical boost signal from your engine, interpolates the signal inside an electronic junction box, and then sends the electronic signal to your boost gauge; successfully eliminating “buzz”, providing pinpoint accuracy, and allowing precise monitoring of your vehicle’s boost signal.
As if that wasn’t enough, Eurojet has pinpointed the infamous VW “Blue” instrument cluster illumination for a perfect matching solution.
In addition to a full replacement Vent Pod that matched the OEM factory fitment and finish, bringing you that OEM+ type look you’ve always wanted out of a gauge pod!

Unitronic Releases 2.5L Stage 2 Flash

Bye bye rev hang! We are happy to announce that Unitronic has released a 2.5L Stage 2 Flash to add to their 2.5L software line-up. The Stage 2 file is specifically intended for those 2.5′ers that have upgraded their headers, mid-pipe, and cat-back exhaust and is optimized for 93octane fuel. Best of all, as with all of Unitronic’s Stage 2 flashes, it elimintates the CEL as a result from running either a high flow cat or a test pipe (no cat). In addition, you can officially say goodbye to that annoying ass rev hang. This is a great addition to the Eurojet 2.5L Headers [which are on sale until Thursday, August 14, 2009, by the way] that were released a few months ago, and comes highly recommended. The Unitronic 2.5L Stage 2 Flash is priced competively at $450. For existing Unitronic customers, all you have to pay is a upgrade fee of $100 from Stage 1 or $50 from Stage 1+. 20squared offers FREE INSTALLATION for those of you who are local to our shop and great turn-around times for a bench flash if you’re not local and would like to send your ECU in to us. 20squared AIR: Trials, Tribulations, & Truth

With a couple of air ride kits under our belt now, and being more involved in the air community, I’ve noticed a number of things that I see mentioned pretty often, that I feel could use some clarification. It seems that everyone is after the “Ultimate Air Ride Kit” that is magically going to get you the absolute lowest possible. Well, I hate to break it to ya, but there’s no magic involved. Just alot of time and labor. Why so much time? As mentioned above, there is no set “Kit” that is going to work universally on each and every car. There are so many different styles people want to run in terms of a trunk setup, and a BUNCH of bag-over/strut setups out there that offering a “Kit” that will work with any and all applications nearly impossible. Sure, there are a number of other “companies” that sell self proclaimed “Kits”, but I almost guarrantee you that you’ll end up hitting up your local Fastenal dealer more than once in order to get your “Kit” routed and plumbed correctly.
We don’t offer “Kits”, because as mentioned above, the fittings, tank, and other components are dependant on what the customer wants. With that said, We can certainly put together a full setup for you, based on YOUR goals. Unless you are making the EXACT same trunk setup EACH and EVERY time for EVERY customer, there’s no way that you can have a standard “Kit” that will work for everyone. In addition, there are a number of things that we INCLUDE with a setup build by 20squared, that most other companies do not use in their “kits”. We feel that components such as running stainless steel leader lines, which is not something that you see very often in our little market here, is going to add to the long-term stability and overall quality of any air ride setup. After all, the last thing you want to do is bust a line right at the bag.
The other thing that we’ve noticed with the Show Season in full swing now, is a PROPER, CLEAN trunk setup seems to be over-rated. Sure most everything is hidden under a falsefloor, but people are going to want to see your setup and you’re better want to show that damn thing off. The last thing you want to do is lift up the falsefloor and it be a cluster of hoses, wires, etc. This plays a big part in the TYPE, SIZE, and BEND of the fittings used. In an attempt to make this come full circle, most of the “Kits” you see offered out there, come with all straight push-to-connect fittings that are made out of plastic and have a maze/twist/turned mess of lines in your trunk. How much cleaner does it look when you have nice nickel plated push-to-connect fittings using the right bends and sizes? Let me give you a hint. A LOT!
That’s what we’re about and, as many of you might know, our air ride builds might take a BIT longer than most, but everything that leaves our shop is proper and WON’T leave until so. So be flexible or else we’re going to be forced to shortcut things here and there. Air ride setups are something that need some good old fashioned TLC. Not just thrown together and installed in a day or over a weekend.

For the 4th year in a row we are proud to be an Asoociate Sponsor of Waterfest, the largest VW/Audi Car Show in the country. If you’ve never checked Waterfest out, it is definately a sight to see.
